Daniel Pires Luiz da Costa

Electrical Engineer with emphasis in Production from PUC-RIO and specialized in New Business from Harvard Business School.

Daniel was the Chief Executive Officer of the Nexta technology company, where he led the entire development process. He also worked as President of PUC-RIO's EJ, where he coordinated the process of certification and organization in the Prêmio de Qualidade Rio (PQ-RIO) and managed consulting projects for clients such as Lufthansa, Domino’s, Ipiranga, TIM, SATA, Petrobras, among others. He is currently the Chief Executice Officer of Cortex Intelligence, coordinating the company's development and acting also in consulting projects and systems implementation.

Leonardo Costa, M.Sc.
Chief Strategy Officer

Holds a Master's degree in Businees Administraton from COPPEAD/UFRJ, with an extension at UCLA's Anderson School of Management MBA, in Los Angeles, USA, and is specialized in New Business from Harvard Business School. He is an Electrical and Production Enginner from PUC-RIO.

Worked as a consultant at Accenture in diverse strategy and process redesign projects, an was a manager at the Research and Marketing Nucleus of PUC-RIO' EJ. Currently the Chief Strategy Officer of Cortex Intelligence, where he coordinates studies and consulting projects in competitive intelligence strategy. He is also a professor at PUC-RIO teaching the “Finance for New Business course”.

Belonged to the only brazilian team ever to win the L'Oréal E-Strat Challenge, in Paris, considered the greatest international competition in strategy, that gathers over 36 thousand business students annually from the best MBAs in the world.

Christian Nunes, D.Sc.
Chief Technology Officer

Doctor in Applied Computational Intelligence (ICA PUC-Rio), M.Sc. in Decision Support Systems from PUC-Rio, Electrical Engineer and Bachelor in Cognitive Psichology, also from PUC-RIO.

Possesses great experience in data mining, initially applied to the financial market and CRM (Customer Relationship Management), having worked in specialized companies in the field. He is now Cortex Intelligence's Chief Technology Officer and one of the originators of the text mining technology behind most of the company's products and services. Christian heads a team of masters and doctors who have been researching state-of-the-art themes in the field of text mining for over 5 years.

Eduardo Medeiros Rodrigues, M.Sc.
Project Manager

Master in Business Administration from COPPEAD/UFRJ, with an MBA extention at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is a Production Engineer from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Eduardo was a consultant at Accenture, having worked in process and systems implementation for large telecomunications companies, like Brasil Telecom, Telemar e Vivo. He worked also at TV GLOBO, coordinating several projects. Currently works as Project Manager at Cortex Intelligence, where he leads consulting projects and IT development for Competitive Intelligence.

Is an ex-scholariship holder and member of the Fundação Estudar, entity that finances study programs for promising professionals chosen through a rigorous selection process.
